Last Christmas I paint this "JOY to the world" to go above our fireplace and cover our TV. I'm so excited that this Christmas there will be 8 stockings hanging under it!
I love everything artsy/crafty and would love to earn some extra money from my creations when the kids are all in school. My mind has touched on different scenarios- selling cute hairbows and jewelry; running a holiday boutique or being a party planner; or going back to school and getting another degree- interior design this time. However, my mind most often comes back to painting. I LOVE painting fun, whimsical, and cheery pictures to liven up a space. Unfortunately, there are no places left in my home to hang any more of my pieces. I'm using this blog as a portfolio to showcase some of my work. I mainly use acrylics on watercolor paper, but I've also dabbled with canvas, ceramics, wood, and am eager to experiment with different mediums.
